Sports Day at ISK
Kavita Chhibber leads the parade (1976) to kick-off the Annual Sports Day. The three Houses - Ganga, Yamuna and Kaveri follow Kavita around Kabul Stadium. This venue became a horrible killing field for the Taliban in late 1990's where public hangings and beheadings were carried out.
Calisthenics was the first event following the parade. Neeta Suri appears in the middle of this picture. Behind her is Shaista Aziz next to Charanjit Singh. 1977
